My Stormtroopers with shields for breaching rooms and close-quarters. They were originally modeled during the closing days of 7th ed where the Imperial Agent Codex allowed for Acolytes to carry Storm-Shields and Bolt pistols. Only until recently I have time to paint them up over the Easter long-weekend.

Now in 8th ed I'm not certain what unit to run them as due to the greatly simplified rule set in which Inquisition units/IG no longer have wargear/armour upgrade options. If you have any suggestions as to what unit to run them as, please do share!

Very dark and menacing! I'm not playing 40K right now, but I reckon they'd work pretty well as Khador Assault Kommandos...

They are very cool - maybe post something on their fb page and hint at rules !/ Can't hurt.

Greetings Jono40kStories, I really like the color palette You used on Your Inquisitorial Storm Troopers.

I am curious what kits did You use to create the models.

I was thinking of rounding up more henchmen for My Inquisition Force and really like what You have done.

Cheers mate - they were built with the base Tempestus Scions kit (the gorgets came with the box, used for the Tempestus Prime with the chains removed), the shields from ForgeWorld's Space Marine Boarding Assault kit, and the bolt pistols from regular Space Marine kits.

I really dig the helmets! the green contrast works well with the red too. is it all drybrushing?
