Subject: 40mm base or flying stand for jetbikes and other flying models

Hi guys, at the minute I'm stuck between deciding to mount some jetbikes on a flying stick stuck through a hole drilled in to a 40mm base or just sticking with the regular flying base, I know it's down to personal preference but are there any pros and cons to either, is the 40mm base more stable?

I'm all for custom bases, but keep the size/shape the same of someone will use it to rules-lawyer you. I'm swapping out for clear plastic bases, but I'm making damn certain the sizes match up.

Oh of corse, I've made sure and a flying base at the bottom is 40mm wide, I'd just like to base mine but would rather do it with a boarder I think instead of the sloped angles of the clear plastics. Thanks for the advice though

In that case, go flat when you can. Just try it out first on a test model - some people have trouble picking up the slimmer base
