Hi all,
recently gotten back in 40k 8e and since a while, I learned to enjoy podcasts. So now I am looking for some good ones do you have any recommendations?
I have no preference for any theme just wanting to get as knowledgeable as possible.

The 3 i listen to regularly are:
http://www.preferredenemies.com
https://thelongwar.libsyn.com
http://forgethenarrative.net/category/podcast/
All 3 have high production value and good audio quality, preferred enemies is probably best suited to a new or returning player, the other 2 have more of a competitive focus, but all 3 are enjoyable and informative.
I recommend you check out all of them.

I like Masters of the Forge, Forge the Narrative, and Signals from the Front Line.
I tried listening to Preferred Enemies, but they struggled to hold my attention.

Previously I would have said The Overlords (hands down one of the best podcasts ever done for 40K).
However they closed up shop, so we're left with a few other good ones.
Preferred Enemies is great. Just a solid podcast and lengthy enough to enjoy on long drives.
Forge the Narrative is more competitive minded, put out more often and is much shorter - more of a "news of the week" kind of podcast.
I would have said The Independent Characters recently, but it's just losing its interest to me, for a number of reasons. It's not bad, but it's not as good as it used to be (personally).
There are some really bad 40K podcasts out there as podcasting is easy and available to a lot of people, including those with no voice for radio, zero charisma, or just people who are annoying as hell. I've been through dozens of 40K podcasts and some are terrible. There are also a smattering of off-colour 40K podcasts if that's your thing. I was trying one podcast out and it was 20+ minutes at the beginning of dick jokes, stories about hookers and blowjobs...so...yeah.
Just download an episode of a bunch and see what you like.

The 40K Badcast is great, genuinely entertaining and funny. They have an absolutely killer feature where every week they read out a bit of bizarre 40K fan-fiction.
The Independent Characters is also great. They have this class and swagger to them that comes from being the biggest 40K podcast out there.
The Adeptus Terra podcast is a very likeable British podcast. They do quite deep looks at various bits of the lore, which often consists of them reading out bits of 1d4 Chan and 40K Lexicanum, but is interesting nonetheless.
Splintermind is fantastic, but primarily Drukhari-focussed. If you're interested in Drukhari, it's essential.
Masters of the Forge is great for custom narrative missions.

Thanks all! I hadn't even had this on my mind, but I'm now subscribed to a couple of podcasts that I'm looking forward to listening to.
Thanks again!

All of the above mentioned are great.
Preferred Enemies are my favourite. They do a fair bit of tedious codex reviews but what I really love about them is they have a listener mail segment and they genuinely read out all your mail and discuss with their views. Rob being a tournament organiser does a great job of giving you clear explanations on rules.
Forge the Narrative is amazing and linked to BOLS a MUST for anyone that plays Blood angels. Paul's voice has a really weird quality to it that some people hate but I love and his aggressive tournament focus is a really interesting view. Chris comes out with crazy puns that always have me in stitches while painting and the other guys just add so much flavour.Like Ricky and his chaos Dark Angels army
The main one missing from this list is the Beast coast gaming which has literally just started. This is run by a group of east coast gamers including probabbly the greatest 40k competitive player on the planet Nick (Brown) Nanavati who just won LVO and placed second at Adepticon. I'm hoping that will take off as an awesome addition to my listening selection. Only one episode so far.
But the one that has carried the torch for 40k forever through the dark years and has a massive lore and casual gaming focus is the Independent characters. NOT competitive focused but they do lore deep dives and its always worth going back and listening to their Show of Force episodes for your factions. It will make you buy more models.
The last one to mention which I really enjoy is The Honest Wargamer who is hosted by the ex GW warhammer tv rep. This guy is full of beans on every episode and has the best laugh i've ever heard. Every episode he picks just one unit and does a deep dive into everything surrounding that unit. Mainly an AOS focus but the 2 rundowns on poxwalkers and mortarion were great for me when starting my death guard army

My current favorite is The Best General. It is soant d toward competitive but much more about the mindset and thought process than say codex reviews, and list building. Lots of interviews with top players and TOs
There is a wide range of 40k casts out there so it really depends on what you are looking for in your listening.
