So I like taking all comer type lists and I'm not the spamming type. So I thought of a list that could be played a few different ways. I'm bringing the wolf scouts to use them as outflanking plasma bombs and the wulfen will outflank using the strategem. The bikes wolf priest and lord will march up the board using cover where they can to increase survivability. LOS blocking cover coupled with their SS and T5 2W should make them somewhat durable giving time for the enemy to open up their backfield leaving space for the wulfen and plasma bombs. Alternatively I could put the camo scouts on the table and the priest can deepstrike near the wulfen. The bikers would have the ability to put 40 shots out at 12". Let me know what you think.

I'd drop a unit of scouts for 5 long fangs with 3 lascannons or a couple of min squads of GH for objective holding.

I'd also save some points on wulfen, the min squad with 3-4 TH/SS is definitely enough with this points budget.

Probably two HQs are too many points invested in a 1000 points SW army. You really have a small amount of bodies on the ground.

26 is a small amt. I'm not a fan of GH so far this edition. I could drop the lord for long fangs. I may take missiles though so I could shoot at hordes with them also.

This would be my pick. More stable mid field with the GH, longer range with intercessors for back field holding, Arjac can be used to deepstrike and take on anything heavy or drop down to the WG to give them an extra attack, priest with wulfen. 3CP instead of 1. Downside, no heavy and would need to rely on Arjac/wulfen.

This list also has few units. Unfortunately with the wolves being an elite army I won't have lots of option for cheap bodies. Unless I want to load up on barebones GH and BC.

Yeah, not easy getting feet on the ground. Your scouts with no cloak have a 4+ save though which would concern me.

Arjac would buff the WG better than a WGBL with re roll hits plus extra attack to WG, plus he's got more survivability than the WGBL and hits a lot harder for the big stuff/characters. Something maybe worth considering.... Few more points but could easily trim down the OP list so save a few pts, like trading one TH/SS for axe etc.

With all troops apart from the WG bikers off the table till end of movement, if you don't get 1st turn those bikers will have everything on the opposing side firing at them.

Seems like a very assault orientated force, how will you hold objectives on your own side of the table if the bikes are advancing and scouts/wulfen/priest are dropping in?

We play maelstrom missions in our tournaments. I know it's not the best plan but I usually use highly mobile units to grab objectives when needed. I do this while I eat the more useful or dangerous units in my opponents army. Admittedly the original list isn't as fast as I usually go. I typically use jumppack wolfguard as well. My ego tends to drive me to table some opponents.

In my experience 1-2 single cyberwolves help a lot in 1000 games. They're 15ppm, they can deepstrikers arrive and they're fast and expendable obective grabbers. Maybe you can consider this option.

Hey buddy, I know this is not quite as killy since it uses lowly Grey Hunters, BUT... This is the 1k Wolf list I've been running. It does pretty well. I find it can take on hordes and still has a fair amount of anti tank. It's fairly mobile. it is of course lacking the kill-tastic Wulfen, but I find them hard to fit into 1k, personally.

If it is paramount that I take out a large vehicle (see people who bring titans to 1k matches), I always start the Long Fangs behind the Twin-Lascannon Razorback so they can't get shot up on the first turn. Sometimes irt is used to move a Grey Hunter squad forward, but often that one stays back.

Front Line = Bjorn's fire bubble with bikers and the dakka razorback carrying the grey hunter pack with the plasma gun

Back Line = Second barebones GH squad, Long Fanks, TL-lascannon razorback.

Of course this is all situational.

I do have Bjorn but only 1 razorback. I may be able to test a similar list before the event. I tweaked my first list to be much faster. I removed an HQ choice as recommended by another poster above. I have many more bodies as well since they were suggested as well.
