Hey Everyone,

I don't want to cut arms off of my Carnifex and I hate the look of devourers, but i'd like to run my Fex with some devourers.

Can you glue the devourers to the top of a scything talon and call it good? Or is the presence of the scything talon still going to cause problems?

Tervigon arms are considered an acceptable "counts-as" for Tyrants - would this also work for Carnifex? I wouldn't mind cutting off in favor of these since they at least look like monster arms.

Magnetizing is generally the answer, but i'm not super good at it, and it's a bit late for that.

Thanks for your help on this one.

It depends on your opponent and or TO.

Personally "the rule of cool" applies. I do not really care what the conversion looks like as long as a genuine attempt was made to make the model look good.

Only the TO can rule on this, tbh. Lots of Tyranid options get converted, but it’s up to your TO to decide what passes at their tourney.

For me, the joy is in putting some good-looking models on the board and playing out a fantasy battle - not arguing over the poorly-made rules of some 3rd party who neither has any power over my play nor will be visiting me (and my opponent) to ensure we are "playing by the rules"
