Scarab with a Cracked Shell

Hello all, I am a painting noob, and I am about to start up a Necron army with the theme of Khemri in mind. This will be the 1st army that I will paint and model to try and look decent.

Like I said I am wanting to take the Khemri colors from Tomb Kings and apply them to Necrons. The plan so far is all the metal is going to be in Retributor Armour(I will spray base coat all of them with this). Then I ordered blue/green rods, and i planned on having a nice turquoise and red as my other main colors. An example of the colors Im going for can be seen here (https://totalwarwarhammer.gamepedia.com/Khemri) if you look at the crest on the right of the page. My question is how can I go about getting a nice solid turquoise and red in GW paints? IE what should i use as a base/layer/highlight etc..

Doing a little research myself it looks like for the turquoise i can use a base of sotek green and then a layer of Temple guard blue. Is this on the right track or would you all recommend a different combination for a nice clean turquoise?
