A player can elect another player to go, can that player after elect himself to go a second time?
Multiplayer carnage rules for turn selection.

Himself is not another player...

The multiplayer rules are, by definition, non standard.

However, the base multiplayer rules state
After that player has finished their turn, the remaining players roll again to see who takes the next turn, and so on, until all of the players have had a turn. Then, the battle round is over and a new one begins.
To me this indicates each player is meant to get 1 turn per battle round, even though it's not explicitly spelled out in detail, but the core rules say "both players have a turn" per battle round, so thats another strong implication. It's one of those unspoken things you need for the game to work, like how you have to assume that dice are labelled 1 to 6, or that "roll" means "randomly determine a number by physically tossing the dice in such a way that the fundamental chaotic nature of physics makes it nigh on impossible to predetermine."

The rules don't say "another" player. The exact quote is:

Please look at the rules before commenting on them, eh? I'll freely admit I've done goofed in the past by ignoring my own advice, of course!

Like I said, there is no explicit instruction, just several implicit ones suggesting that each player gets one turn per battle round.

Okay, thank you. We ended up by playing it like that but two of my players wanted to give their turns to the eldar player since they were almost wiped out.
Shadowsword vs storm surge and wraith knight. Still managed to win with atlas recovery vehicle, jerry rigging and tech priest healing it every turn.

Well when the OP said "A player can elect another player to go"...

i responded to what he wrote. So the OP should have looked at the rules before posting.
