Where do you get the skid dice?
Yeah, you can get them direct, or there's a couple of places that now do them. They're actually listed as "Friends of Gaslands" on the gaslands.com SHOP page. Many of them also make templates, terrain, weapon bits, etc.

But yeah, our first few games we just used standard d6. It's not too difficult to remember, but having the actual skid dice is a lot more fun. I got mine from https://www.etsy.com/shop/thomaswynnstudio which may be a great option for those in the US.

Yeah the shipping to Canada is pretty pricey. In all cases it was as much as the order itself, or in the case of just a set of dice, double the cost of the dice set.

Anyone have any Canadian stores, or a cheaper shipping option?

Loving gaslands !

Be prepared for a "cheap" game turning into buying buckets of toys at every opportunity

I already do that for my kid.
It's more for him, actually. What could be more fun than modding your Hot Wheels as a kid and then playing a game with them?

OK. Forget the part about being a kid.
Yeah this is all for me.
But the two of us should have a lot of fun building stuff to play toy cars with.

Haven't played yet, but I am building my first team. I probably should design the vehicle stats before modeling, because a semi-truck hauler I made ended up costing 47 Cans with all the options I put on it. I think 50 cans is what most people play for teams, right? Yeeeah... might have gone overboard with that truck.

I'm completely ignoring the rules, and modding them how I want them to look.
If my truck has 4 guns on it, but in reality there's only one, it's not like I'm going to shoot 3 extra guns.
And just because it's modded with armour plates and such, doesn't mean you have to actually buy them. It could be just ad-hoc repairs.

I'm using the record sheets for the actual stats and letting the cars look awesome.
