Is this enough Dakka for a Gunline focused Iron Warriors list?

18 BS 3 Autocannons
38 BS 3 Boltguns
45 BS 3 Boltpistol
01 BS 2 Warpbolter
03 BS 3 Missile Launchers
06 BS 3 Las Cannons
01 BS 4 Battle Cannon
01 BS 4 Twin Heavy Bolter

The Autocannons are on Marine bodies, the Las Cannons and Missile Lanchers are on Helbrutes and the BS 4 stuff is on my Defiler.

Well I wouldn't be counting bolt pistols or small arms at all really, so it's more like

18 (!) autocannons
3 ML (whatever)
6 LC (nice)

That is a lot of guns but why so many of them autocannons? Maybe diversify into some more Lascannons and some more heavy bolters?

Because autocannons are better against majority targets point for point. Especially if you bring in shoot twice and/or veterans into the equation. Autocannons are love, Autocannons are life..

I'd throw in a couple Rapier Artilleries with quad heavy bolter just to be sure.

I use Autocannons because they preform well. Primaris in cover go from a 2+ to a 4+, and the 2 damage they deal kills them 1 to 1 on unsaved wounds. They also do well against TEQ and bikes when figuring in the IW LT. And their range is huge. They're just great guns to aim at a lot of stuff.

I'd like more LCs, but honestly, if Helbrutes could go quad Autocannons I'd probably go that route instead. I don't useForgeworld, so that limits my options. I should look into some Predators, but I'd hate to give up using my custom Defiler. Maybe if I tried to make a tournament list it would revolve around 3 Helbrutes, 3 Havoc squads and 3 Predators.

I like that idea. It sounds quite formidable!

I know it's a bit anecdotal, but I bring two squads of autocannon havocs with my World Eaters nearly every game. The Teeth of Khorne pry the wretches from their hiding places, then the Berzerkers close in for the kill. Most big targets are t7 anyway, against anything higher just use VotLW to wound on 4+. Not much can survive 16 s7 ap-1 d2 shots, potentially boosted by a Lord, or for the less confident, a filthy sorcerer.

Heck yeah! Just got mine in a week or so ago. Even got the MKV Heresy Armour guys to go with them.

Very nice. I roll with MkIII power armour. And I use the MkIII helm and shoulders on all my Primaris marines (intercessors, aggressors, inceptors, hellblasters), with MkIII backpacks on the non-gravis models. It look sweet.

Where are your basilisks? Shame on you.
