So, I have 10 Tzaangors with Auto Pistols and Chain Swords, and 20 with the blades. I am not a super competiteve player, so I am not that concerned about point efficency, but the blades are just over the top better than the AP and CS. The models I have with the AP and CS are painted beautifully (bought them on Ebay) and so I really hate to not use them. What I was thinking of doing was getting some Disc bits off Ebay (can get pretty cheap) and then painting the Discs and removing the bases from the Tzaangors and turning them into Enlightened with AP and CS. I know that the AP and CS version of Enlightened is not the best (Bows rock) but I am not really going to do anything else with the Tzaangors and I don't think I can afford 9 more Bow Enlightened anyway, and don't have the time to really paint new ones (painting the discs is easy as you can get away with just a few colors and not much detail of the model on top has detail).

Anyone think this is a good idea?

Side Note: I also think it would be cool to have a unit that basically no other person is really going to have, no other TS player I have talked to has this kind of Enlightened.

I think that would be fine, but you can just use them as 'counts as' tzaangors with blades, too.
