Thoughts? The first thing that comes to mind is this:
White Dwarf - 101- May 2004, Price Tag (Germany): 5,95€
Yes, I have still the WD with her on the cover. I always liked the artwork and now I will even have the opportunity to have her as a mini. This day already surprised me with a ton of good news from BB and now this. She also looks better than the sister from the 2nd Sororitas codex. Though I guess her price tag will be at least 25€ but like Slambo and Marbo she is simply a must have mini.
I just noticed that there is already a thread about this mini in the news section. So this thread will be locked in no time.

Or more to the point - skinny bulked up with armour that actually has some thickness (rather than having the armour with the external silhouette of a nude woman).

Personally like the design of the older models better, but this is a nice update. Not sure why they did not stick with the Sisters of silence builds but what ever.

I mean the art and lore seem to disagree, with that but. Because SoS looks exactly how they are depicted in lore.

I think there might be some confusion between Sisters of battle and sisters of silence.
The model pictured is a progression of the stylings of the sisters of battle, from the late 90's metal models, through Celestine, to this.
Sisters of Silence are a different group, with their own (in fluff older) style of power armor.

Love it. I'll be getting 2. One to use as a display model with the base, and one to use as a regular bolter girl in a squad and give the base to a character/canoness for the actual army.
Can't wait to see more! Thrilled that she'll be released early! If this is the design and detail that they're going for, them I'm VERY VERY VERY excited to see what the regular squads and characters look like!!

I would have preferred the first together with the other (normal or even fit proportions + armour-thick armour), but you can only ask for so much I guess. It's better than I expected but worse than I had hoped, which I guess is acceptable.

She's not enough of a waifu. Breasts are too small (also no cleavage window, wtf), face is too rugged. Her feminine curves are mostly obfuscated by the armor and she doesn't even have a cute smile.
She looks too much like a solder that just walked through a warzone. Overall disappointed.

If the rest of the range mirrors this aesthetic I think SoB players will be very pleased indeed.
It is making me seriously consider an Ordo Hereticus detachment with Sisters as henchman/allies. Although that would be some way off.

I’ve used my Sisters as Bolter Acolytes in PA with my Inquisitors quite a few times, but they are still better as Sisters with their Acts of Faith.
