I don't know anything about harlequins, but thank god GW haven't gone for the usual recycling of chapter tactics that are all very similar. I was getting worried they'd completely run out of ideas, but some of these are a little out there compared to the usual options.

And refuse to love the Spinosaurus because it is a hamfisted attempt at taking what you loved, making it TREX +++ and trying to sell you it.

The "Veiled Path" Masque Form is aggressively bad. It's going to need some very serious help in the form of stratagems or relics to be worth considering.

My black, white and golden guys and gals are happy to get even more attacks!
Five a model, thats pretty scary.
The Fusion Pistok drive-by form looks pretty scary as well.
I'm happy so far. Can't wait for more spoilers.

I don't know about aggressively bad, but it does beg the question, what if you roll two sixes? A natural six has to hit regardless of modifiers, would this still work? I can't remember of it's codex or core rules that supercede each other in this edition.

Natural 6’s only wound, I don’t think they hit anymore.

There is no 'natural 6s always succeed' rule for any rolls, only '1s always fail'.
There's an argument that there should be of course.
And yeah that Veiled Path form is both weak and unreliable, just like the Daemon relic thing with the same effect.

They haven't actually recycled traits quite so blatently since the Craftworlds codex last November.

Fist of all hats of to fellow go coder and I agree with you on Veiled Path it's total garbage. No one is going to use it unless they have a exceptional stratagem or relics. The Midnight Sorrow is good and it will take finesse and planning to make good use of. You can charge a group and wrap around them to prevent them from leaving combat. Frozen Stars is good, but unlike The Midnight Sorrow it's strait forward. The Masque of the Soaring Spite is also very good. If they change profile of some of the heavy weapons to assault it will make this form even better. Dreaming Shadow is ok it's not good as others, but not bad. Since Troupes are cheaper now it might be worthwhile to take 12 men squads with the blade being escorted by shadow seer. Silent Shroud is anther ok form. I don't find moral shenanigans very useful, but someone might be able to make good use of it. So far not to bad 3 good forms 2 ok and 1 bad.
