Hi guys! Going to start some Drukhari and wondering what some good first purchases are. Is the Start Collecting a good buy? Seems like good value, but just want to confirm it's stuff I'll use. Thanks!

Hi.
Price is quite good, but maybe you don´t want to use wyches. Start Collecting is a very good offer. I am also thinking about buy one Start Collecting for expand my Space Marines. Drukhari are cheap in points and you will use lots of them.

It depends on what style you want to play. All the three subfactions are very good but they have the best results by mixing at least 2 of them. The start collecting is a good deal if you want to field wych cult units, you can even buy more than a single box since wyches, venoms and reavers can be spammed and 2-3 succubus are not redundant since they're basically the only HQ available if you want to field a good amount of wych cult units..

New start collecting, old start collecting and gangs box are all good if you can find the out of print ones in a shop.
The next best buy is, I guess, a box of crypt horrors and a Talos kit? Lol.

I would get both the old and new Start Collecting. Start Collecting Drukhari and Start Collecting Dark Eldar(2016). Both are on the web store. That would give you a good core for Cult and Kabalite. After that it depends people will say 3 Ravagers or 2 Ravagers and a Flyer for your long ranger pew pew.

I didn't realize SC 2016 was still on the webstore, damn.
1x SC 2018, 2x SC 2016 and one extra Raider is an amazing value. That'll get you to an incredibly good 1000pt TAC list for under 300 dollars even if you do pay full MSRP..which you should not do, if you're buying a whole army at once you should find a discount.

Since it was so New, the Drukhari codex felt like a safe buy. If I'm going to spend some time assembling this and painting it should I wait on getting a rulebook? How close are we thought to be to next edition?
