Hey guys, just getting back into 40k and would like to start playing some tournaments. I’m a big stickler for painted models in all forms of play and but don’t have the time to paint so will be paying for a commission. I’ve come up with the following list based on models I have. Any opinions on how it would go (aiming mid table) would be much appreciated.

The idea is the bigger horror unit and the 6 flamers comedown turn 2 supported by a changecaster. The daemon princes advance behind the two units of 10 horrors supported by the other changecaster. The screamers pick a flank supported by the flux. The two units of 3 flamers hang back for enemy reserves and the 3 chariots hunt tanks and other big things.

Next two things to buy: Blue/Brim box and LoC. Use the Brims to make a 10 man, and turn the 20 Pinks into 30 with an Icon. Use the Blues for splits on this unit.

LoC with Robes has a 3++, and can Surge to a 2++, making him an unkillable bullet sponge. Since his utility is in casting and attracting fire, he can advance aggressively for best paychic positioning and fall out of combat with impunity, acting as bait to drag enemies into charge range for your Princes.
Also, if you have 3 Princes, put them in a Supreme Command TSons. Waaaaay better options. Take Crystal and Helm Relics, maybe make a Prince the Warlord for a 3++.

Flamers are not optimal, even though they seem good in a vacuum.

Can't make a prince a warlord without losing the Impossible Robe on the LoC btw. Best to keep the LoC as your warlord as it's probably the best Tzeentch daemons HQ with the 2++.

EDIT: Nevermind, you can spend 1CP to give the LoC the robe and make the ksons DP a warlord for the 3++. I learned something new today.
