Hey all hope your are doing good

Just few a quick question about how well Leviathan Dreadnoughts synergies with space wolves? what kind of load out would be best? and what units compliment them?

Cheers everyone

I think the Leviathan works pretty well for any Space Marine chapter as it is brutally effective. For my money, the best loadouts are either Storm Cannon and Grav Flux Bombard or dual Stormcannon (prefer one of each but some people prefer maximum dakka ).

As for complimenting them, Leviathans are very tough but do tend to attract firepower so keeping an Iron Priest nearby to patch it up is not a bad idea.

I would also keep some infantry nearby for screening. You do not want the enemy getting into CC with a Dakka Leviathan since even if they don't do much damage, they will rob it of a turn's shooting.

Whatever you do - magnetize the arms (extremely simple), and leave future weapon options available.

I don't have experience with Space Wolves particularly, but I do have a lot of experience using a Leviathan in 8th Edition. It's enough to turn my fairly fluffy Fulminators Primaris Marine force in to a solid contender.
I'll back up what Karhedron said; you need to bring screening, buffs and protection for a Leviathan. It may be points efficient, but it is also a massive threat. Anybody that has played against a Leviathan before knows to target it immediately.

Run it with guns. The guns are cheaper, and vastly better than the melee loadouts available.

Magnetizing on a kit that expensive is a must. And even for someone bad at magnetizing like myself, the Leviathan is stupid simple. Drill a small hole, big enough for your chosen magnet at it's "Shoulder" piece, and another where it's weapon housing attaches to the shoulder.

Would strongly recommend 2x Stormcannon. I use it with my Raven Guard and it's a solid part of my gunline. I usually keep a Captain and Lieutenant nearby for lovely re-rolls, and if you need survivability, have a Librarian cast Might of Heroes on him. Now he's as tough as a Warhound Titan with -1 to hit, -2 if you use your Smoke Launchers.

Just be damned sure to make sure you polarize them correctly. You do NOT want to have to dig one out when you have arm that absolutely refuses to go in

Recommendable to glue one side first, then have magnet in it while putting second part over it. That way it's sure to be right way.
