Im thinking about using that AoS model as a Daemon Prince conversion baseline, adding some bits to give him wings and a sword. Is he the right size, or even close?

Not only is he perfect in size, he's a much better model than that super lame plastic daemon prince model. Man, I wish they would put that thing out of its misery.

AoS is pure garbage
Kill Primaris, Kill the Primarchs. They don't belong in 40K

modelling wise hes perfect, I just did one for a commission, the daemon prince wings take minimum effort to pin and glue together with very minor if any seams, real life physics wise, the wings should be bigger for actual flight /his bulky size.

look in my gallery under commission folder for pics.

hard to find it, anything more specific?

P.S.A. I won't read your posts if you break it into a million separate quotes and make an eyesore of it.

I don't think daemon Princes let anything as mundane as real life physics bother them.

Take a look at what I've been painting and modelling: https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/0/725222.page

Truly an excellent idea! Curious, though... would this conversion be legal as a daemon prince at most tournaments out there or just casual games?

Thanks

I don't see why not, all parts are GW legal, no 3rd party, it was literally the ogroid kit with daemon prince wings and base, as the base came with the ogroid is smaller.
