Hello Dakkanaughts,

Looking for advice in regards to the new Grand Legions book for Death. I've build an army and I have 990 points. Do I get any type of 'free' resurrections as it stands?, or is the 10 pts what I have to work with ?

So many different rules in the army Grand Host of Nagash allow me to return models here, return models there. I am unsure how do I pay to bring all those units back...

Are regeneration to original size unit fair game ?

Get it painted up though. It's a scientific fact that unpainted models die quicker than painted one's.

So nearly all your heroes can resurrect models from units with the summonable keyword (deathly invocation), and your gravesites can resurrect models in units with the summonable keywords. This is free. If you wanted to use the ability that allows you to summon a full new unit if yours dies or something like that, that costs you points. For now, that's changing in a few weeks when AoS 2nd edition comes out

So yeah, deathly invocation and gravesites are free, endless legions costs points in matched play. In 2nd edition, endless legions and "the master's teachings" (sacrament allegiance ability) will not cost reinforcement points. However all command abilities will now cost command points.

Full clarity: no cost for returning dead models to an existing unit. Reinforcement points required in matched play to return destroyed units (no problem in narrative games).
New edition - everything is free.

Run a whole lot of wfrp and other rpg's, play The Woods and Kill Team, gather and look mournfully at imperial guard knowing I'll never finish enough to use them on the tabletop
