Hay guys I would like to thank those that took the time to answer my previous question and I now have another one.

The rule I am trying to clarify is before the battle.

I am attending a tournament soon and need to submit my list, I am taking necrons want to know if I need to specify which C'Tan powers I will be using in the list, i.e pick only 2 for the whole tournament, or do I pick them as I start. This isn't a huge issue it's more about giving away free information or not as I already know which powers I want.

This will totally depend on the guidelines for the specific tournament I'm afraid!

The rules don't cover this because it's totally up to the TOs discretion. TOs can say you pick 9 powers, ban all pink models or make Imperial Knights cost 3 points. The only one who can answer your question is the dude in charge of your tournament.

Yep, even keeping the same list between games is a tournament houserule.

Mmm ok, it's more of a fun tournament so they probably wouldn't go that overboard with the rules but I appreciate your input good sir, makes me think I might just submit them in my list as I would only play it one way.
