Hi,
There are upgrade sprues for imperial knights from Forgeworld for house Terryn. I am thinking about buying some.
Can you fix the carapace weapons to the upper hatch upgrade easily or does it require major conversion work?

Why Aye Ya Canny Dakkanaughts!

I don't believe the Upper hatch alters the fix point for top carapace weapons.

Correct, the mounting point is part of the upper carapace, not the hatch.

Okay, maybe this was misleading. I think the upgrade parts are not just the hatch on top, but the whole upper armour part. I am not sure though....
Anyway the real question is: Will the upgrade sprue be compatible with the carapace weapons? Did anyone already use the upgrade parts and can share his experience?

Here is what you get with house terryn upgrade set. It won't have interfere in the slightest with the carapace weapon. The hatch is a completely separate piece.

There's a beast in every man, and it stirs when you put a sword in his hand

You should also note that these are resin parts, they're not a plastic sprue.

Are you looking at these on the FW site? There are two pics that show exactly what you get in the kit.

Oh yes, thanks!
I was confused, because I thought the carapace weapons would be put on the hatch plate somewhere.

That detail on the hatch is a little window.

The circle further back is the weapon mount.
