Absolutely amazing. Custodes are the same size as primaris marines, so this conversion is true to scale.

For the second pic, did you cut the knee fins off the primaris using a knife and replace the helmet? Or did you do something else? He looks good too.

I'll have to keep that in mind. The more I look at him the more I like it. I'll have to consider that for any future marines I make. I assume you make the cuts before assembling him? And do you have more photos?

I ask because I like primaris scale marines and I like primaris helmets, but I don't like their silhouettes. Those three things are the biggest culprits. I think the knee fins are a must remove, and they look easy to cut. But it looks like the collar was hard to trim, any tips on that?

I'll have to start following your blog then.

I think the knee fins are too big, imo, even if they aren't a big departure from old marines. I'd still rather they be gone.

So do you use a special knife (anything but an Exacto) or have some trick to keep the cut height even?

Also, is that a different chest piece on the Nova Terra Interreginum model? I didn't know primaris torso were compatible with old marines? Or is it some fancy green stuff?

The needle file seems like one of those tools people don't tell you you need. It looks like it will do a better job at shaving down bits than fine-grit sandpaper or an emery board.

That looks like a pretty easy green stuff project. I haven't done any big green stuff projects, but MK 4 primaris models would be good place to start.

Also, the rhino glass looks great. I wish GW included more transparent bits in their models.
