What do you guys think of running A redemptor Dreadnought for a death watch army? whats the best way to use them as well? I was thinking deep striking them.

Personally I've never been a fan of the redemptor dreadnought. It does not provide anything the Primaris don't already have access to. It's going to be mediocre at shooting at best with a hitting on 4s when it moves then the plasma cannon arm hurts himself on 1s and 2s and if you not overcharging plasma you are doing something wrong).
What Deathwatch *especially Primaris focused ones* need is anti-tank. If you want that look to mortis dreadnoughts, a leviathan or even perhaps chaplain dreadnoughts.

I think it could be good. I would Deep Strike it in using the Strategem, along with 2x Fortis Killteams that each include a 5x intercessors, 4x Aggressors, 1x Inceptor (for the Fallback and Shoot). From there, you have a ton of dakka for clearing chaff, which the Redemptor contributes to; and, once the chaff is clear, the Aggressors and the Redemptor can punch things to death that the chaff was protecting.
However, my plan is to convert an etb Redemptor into a cheap Leviathan, they seem to be about the same size. Then, I will be Deep Striking that in with the 2 aforementioned Fortis Killteams.

Played against a knight list featuring a Castellan last night. That thing absolutely eradicated me. My Pimped out Plasma-Fortis team was annihilated like they were guardsmen. My MSU vet teams stayed on the board much more successfully and, together with the watchmaster, took one down before leaving too. Knights are going to be a problem for us, I suspect. For example, deepstriking a 5xhellblaster fortis team into firing range and triggering the doctrine will net you 4 wounds vs a 3++ knight... 7 vs 4++. The upshot? Today I will be assembling my new DW-allied Gallant.

A Leviathan will really help against Knights. Take 2x Grav Bombards and you're getting 2D3 shots at S9 Ap-5 and 5 Damage each!

Okay, lets run the Bombard against our two knights: one at 4++, the other at 3++: DS'ing in, assume a reroll of 1s (strat or bubble), so 3+, rerolling 1s. Wounding on a 3. = 3.45 wounds vs 3++ = 5.18 wounds vs 4++ Lets throw on the doctrine as well: = 4.31 vs 3++ =6.49 vs 4++ So for 340pts and 3CPs you're doing between 4 and 6.5 damage, depending on their profile. That's not going to cut it. If I were deepstriking a Leviathan, I'd definitely want a claw on one hand and a meltalance. Lance does 3/4.5 depending on invuln, and if you make the charge you're doin 13 damage. Either way, I really don't think Leviathans are the answer against a knight list. Both these versions cost around the sam (or more than!) a Gallant: if you can't beat them, join them.
