The thing on the right randomly came off my clippers, and I never noticed it so I have no idea on where they are supposed to go, if anyone could help that would be great! Cheers!

Do they still work?
If so, the thing that came off probably wasn't important.

Well they still move and can cut, but ai have to manually move them back to cut again which is kinda annoying lol.

given what you describe I'm guessing thats the spring in the middle of them. not sure if it'll be repairable or not, it MIGHT just be time for a new pair

If it is the spring, you can still use them, you just have to open them manually.
The spring in my pair broke years ago.

I break clipper springs all the time. I get the Excel clippers from Hobby Lobby. Great cutting surface. Bad spring. I am to the point I manually try to open clippers with functioning springs.

Exactly this. The springs on both of my clippers broke years ago. They still work fine.
