If i want a team that can get cool mutations as the level up, and be good with it, who would that be? Nurgle has some cool rules. Do the regular chaos beastmen have that upgrade? Some of the mutations would help with pick ups if I wanted to make one of then a ball carrier.
Skaven have good use of mutations. Nurgle is worse team, but also benefits from mutations. Regular beastman have the upgrade and also benefits, and it is quite common as you say to have a beastman with big hands or extra arms as you say to help handle the ball.
Indeed. Who has mutations? Almost no model. Chaos got a new team but GW didn“t provide customers with minis of mutated players. So you are stuck with the option of doing conversions.
How many different mutations are there? Multiply that by the number of different players that can get them, and you'll end up with dozens, if not hundreds of combinations, and that simply won't be financially viable. Much easier to just convert the ones you need. They're all plastic nowadays, so it's easy.
