Subject: Official Critical Role Miniatures from Steamforged Game- New Limited Edition minis announced
|

Is 'Eavy Metal Calling?

Thought this might be of interest to any fellow Critters out there. I've said for a while that I'd immediately throw money at some official CR minis, and now it seems I can! Steamforged Games (I believe they do Guild Ball and the Dark Souls game?) are producing them. Given the mention that only some minis are KS-exclusive (Tary, Doty, Pumat) I imagine the main sets will eventually hit retail.

Vox Machina
The Mighty Nein:
The minis will apparently be PVC, and the KS will run from 26th June-6th July. There's no mention of stretch goals just yet, but I imagine we might see some more of the guest characters given that Shakaste from Campaign 2 is in there.

Whelp... *scraps the other side project* Guess going to have to have them resculpted and modified. That would explain why email correspondence died down.
I will however still look forward to seeing them.

28mm, apparently. Though obviously that can vary a lot. KS is live: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/steamforged/critical-role/description £45 both both sets of minis, no stretch goals but this is apparently going to be a full line of models eventually. Expected delivery March 2019, shipped from regional hubs. Automatically Appended Next Post: And funded in 4 minutes, hit four times its goal in 20 minutes! Blimey!

Going into the final 8 hours now, so if you want in, now is the time! It has been confirmed that you can go in for a dollar now and up it later, and I believe I saw mention of some late-pledging option but you'd have to double check that. It's hit over a million dollars and is nearing 20k backers. With 4 Pumat Sols (Pumats Sol?) in each set, that is nearly 80k Pumats shipping out worldwide next year! Which is, respectfully, hilarious... Automatically Appended Next Post: And that's wrap with over 20,000 backers. Late pledges can be had here if you missed it: https://store-uk.steamforged.com/collections/the-vault/products/late-pledge-critical-role%20 And for anyone going to GenCon, there's a limited edition Vax with his Vestige gear. He's also available to pre-order from the Steamforged webstore for those that can't make the show.

Thought I'd update this as there's been a bit of news recently.
First off, there's a new model coming to the Vault resin range shortly, Campaign 2's Kenku Kiri. Available to pre-order now, then pick up at Speil or get delivered in November.
There's a public vote for the following miniature, featuring a few lesser-known characters from fairly early Campaign 1. The winning model will be available in December, or at PAX Unplugged. :

I got my limited edition Vax yesterday, I'll have some pics up soon but it really is a top quality model. The resin holds the detail of the sculpt incredibly well, there was nary a mould line on it and the two components fit together perfectly. I know the KS minis are in PVC rather than resin but if they're even close to this detailed I think I'll be very happy with my investment come March next year...
