Looking for advice.
I painted up a Sicaran and messed up the heat scoring on the guns. I was experimenting with a new lamp, it made colors seem cooler than what they actually are. While the model looks great under the lamp, the barrels look a off under normal light.
Any advice on how to just remove the paint at the tips of the gun barrels? The rest of the model looks great, it would be a shame to have to strip it.

Use and old brush and some isopropyl alcohol and very carefully "scrub" the layer of paint off. I have and old dry brush that I use for this sort of thing, just don't be too harsh to avoid the paint you don't want removed.

Right on. That's something I can do.
Any reason I could not use Super Clean? Asking because that eats through paint a little quicker than Isopropyl.

Why not just repaint that bit?

I used an airbrush, there's several layers, and it's getting a bit thick. Imagining if I add several other layers, it's going to look weird.
