Does anyone know the measurements for the Imperial Knight weapons? I don't care much for the look of the Knight Preceptor las-impuslor and I'd like to 3d model a replacement for it.

A- 12mm
B - 19.5mm
C - 10mm

E - 16mm
F - 17mm

I can't get you D because my two chainguns are fully built.

I can't tell you what a hero you are. Thank you very much, and the Emperor bless you, or the foul corpse-god be damned, whichever makes you happy.

D is 11.85mm according to my calipers.

Thank you so much for the help, Fictional, but I have to ask for a little more, if you're willing to assist. It seems improbable that D and A are only 0.15mm apart in diameter, and it looked like Sauragnmon said that he had already assembled his chainguns, so I'm assuming he also measured D. Do you happen to have the shield for the chainguns to measure, Fictional?

Which dimensions are you looking for? I Might be able to get them, but it gets a little weird measuring oddly shaped things. You fired off the question, and I just happen to have a bunch of knight weapons in construction or painting, and a few parts unused. I haven't made all three of my Thermals because I didn't need them, likewise for a rapid fire battle cannon, especially since my third knight is a Styrix.

I'm looking for the diameter of the hole in the shield compatible with the Avenger Gatling Cannon. It looks like, in your first post, you may have given me the diameter of the shield for the Rapid Fire Battle Cannon, but I may be mistaken. All of my stuff is back in the States, so I can't measure any of it myself. If your Avenger Gatling Cannons are all built up and you can't get the numbers, don't worry about it, and thank you for the help you've given so far.

You want the inner dimensions, right?

Or the actual size of the hole?

The hole should be sufficient.

A 12.18mm
B 15.95mm
C 8mm
D 9mm

At least those are the measurements of the inner most edges of the holes through the items

I used my calipers on the inside of the gun mounts, measuring the socket itself.

Yeah, my Avengers are fully built, so I can't get you the diameter of that one, though I Did get you the battle cannon mount, though.

So my idea was to make something that looks like an automatic shotgun, mixed with a grenade launcher. While I was looking up ideas, I realized that the frag cannon is basically just what I was imagining. I figured a large, drum fed, double barrel frag cannon was a pretty good fit for the Knight Preceptor's rules. Here's my first mockup. Any thought, ideas, or opinions?
Again, I can't thank you guys enough for your help.

I think you might be confusing your weapon loadouts.. the Preceptor is the one with the big las impulsor thing that we haven't seen actually hit the shelves yet.

As to the concept in general, it looks pretty good, though you might have questions of clearance between the inside feed hopper and the legs.

I used the Knight Warden as a template because the large diameter of the Avenger Gatling Cannon allowed the weapon to be double barrelled side by side. I could go with the Thermal Cannon and go over under, but then the feed system would look much more strange, requiring a totally different magazine layout. I figured if the width or height of the drum magazines is an issue, I can make them shorter with just a knife and glue, and if they are too wide I can just rework it pretty quickly and easily. I also put a fairly long plug on the back of the weapon because I can easily cut it down to the correct depth.
