I don't know BA run with shield capts so I can't really help too much. I would expect that model to get nerfed in October, though.

In your thread, trolling.

My local gaming community generally doesn't allow Supreme Command Detachments in tournament play.

Why don't your DC have JPs?

Your Vanguard Vets have double chainswords? There's no benefit to that.

You get +2 A, 1 for each chainsword. There is merit to the idea.

I also ask about lack of JP on death co.

Ditch the intersessors add 3 scout squads

split the DC into two deploy DS either side of lemartes that way if one squad fails there charge half can still get in and always Junp pack them

Its hard to justify vanguard vets when your running lemartes just take more DC

I spaced adding it but the DC do infact have JP. My bad for missing that. Do you guys think I should drop the jetbikes? And maybe run SangGuard with the banner? I will also split the DC that is a fantastic Idea.

Add a knight gallant, add a guard CP farm battalion, remove all BA, except DC, lemartes, and mephiston. Add three captns with JP and TH. Make one your warlord with death visions. Give another one angels wings, and the third one the hammer of baal. Dont use SS on them, they already have 4++, if one dies you still have two left. Dont drop the jetbikes, they are the second best units the imperium has, right after knights, which are the best.

I know that. It doesn't mean it's actually beneficial though.

Well they can be a decent honor guard for the Captain, I think they have 2A base, so with dual swords that 4A, then re-rolling 1's if in range of the Captain. If he had a Sanguinary priest, they would be wounding on 2's vs MEQ. But there are other options to use like more DC or Sang guard, though Sang guard don't have as many attacks I don't think.

I believe their worthwhile in dishing out attacks when dealing with GEQ models, low T, low Sv, since they put out a fair bit of attacks.

Personally, I prefer Inceptors to deal with infantry hordes, stay at range, shoot, good number of shots, good strength and AP.

I can't even endorse DC. They are too fragile for their cost.

I can agree with that. But it doesn't mean they don't hit like a ton of bricks. A single charge from Death Co with appropriate character support will break the back out of any army. As far as survivability. They should have been 2W w/ a 5+ FnP since they've no access to invul saves outside a psychic power. But still, mortal wounds break them bad.
