Hello all,

With AOS 2.0 I went and created a new Khorne list using some of the models I used last edition, plus some changes. Let me know your thoughts.

++Leaders++
Skullgrinder - Mark of the Destroyer (80)
Bloodsecrator - Banner of Rage (140)
Aspiring Deathbringer - General, Berzerker Lord (100)
Skarbrand (400)

++Battlelines++
Blood Warriors x10 (200)
Blood Warriors x10 (200)
Chaos Warriors x 20 - Hand weapon + shield (360)

++Other Units++
Wrathmongers x5
Wrathmongers x5

++Battalion++
Bloodforged

Idea behind this is to just stack attacks like crazy and overwhelm the foe. Banner + Wrathmongers + Aspiring Deathbringer command ability gives +3 attacks (most likely) to anything within range of all three. Trying to keep the wrathmongers in a big line behind everyone and have them charge in where necessary, in order to avoid giving the opponent too many extra attacks. Wrathmongers+Banner+Skarbrand is also hilariously murderous.

Battallion Bonus gives the Skullgrinder, Blood Warriors, and Wrathmongers the ability to ignore rend-1, which is useful, and in the fight phase, any models within 1" of ANY of the bloodforged battallion I roll a d6. On a 6+ I get to attack with them (similar to when wrathmongers die). Which can be hilarious. Combine that with the fact that my wrathmongers also do this, and blood warriors pile in and attack after they die (buffed by wrathmongers of course) I think I can just overwhelm with attacks.

Thoughts?

These are my thoughts (with competitive gaming in mind, if not intended competitive, disregard)
I think your army will only be powerful if you can keep everything together. Which is unrealistic for most pitched battleplans.
The second objectives force you to split up, your opponent can take you. also you are slow you need something to speed things up. In my experience, a slow melee army is a dead melee army.

Now your army can pick 1 massive target (as you need to stay together). multiple will be difficult and key units will be picked off easily.

Also keep in mind that there are pitched battleplans were only wizards or heroes with an artifact can claim objectives. So a beefy monster hero with an artifact might not be a bad idea to add.
