I've been searching for new sources of metallic paints since Reaper stopped making theirs a few years ago. Some of mine are starting to run out. I'm looking for a new source.

I don't mean silver, brass, gold, that stuff is easy to find.

I'm looking for metallic greens, reds, and blues. Anyone know of a source?

I know Coat d'Arms has green and blue, but I really need a metallic red above all others. Another I'm finding I need is a metallic white.

So, what do my fellow Dakkanauts have?

Try instar paints at shop.instarpaint.com
They have a few, though not all of the ones you mentioned.

I do commissions:

Carries the old Citadel colored metallics now under the Coat d'Arms name.

EDIT: Reading fail on my part. I could have sworn that Coat d'Arms had a metallic red as well.

Have you looked at the Vallejo Mecha Color range?

Scale75 has a line of Alchemy paints, they're semi-translucent metallic tints. Put them over a darker metal and they really show up, put them on a lighter metal and they're a pretty light tint.

I've never seen that Vallejo range, but I am not a huge Vallejo fan. But if it's my only option...

Wow! Those Flip paints are an amazing idea! I might get some just to try them. Thanks!

It's a new range which was just introduced late last year. It's target audience is the Gunpla hobbyists, but it should be suitable for use wargamers as well (I've not had a chance to try it yet myself).

Spoiler:

I use Liquitex Iridescent Medium for metallic paints. I add a couple drops to my wet palette and any paint becomes metallic.

May be a good idea to try it before investing in a new paint line.

I get good results on vehicles with hobby store metallic craft paints. Its a little thick so use on figures takes some figuring out.
