There seems to by several EZ build kits out these days for both Primaris Marines and Stormcast Eternals. If they can do those, there surely isn't any reason they can't do EZ build Custodes.

Hypothetically, let's say the box was two unique pose spear guys, and one unique pose sword/shield guy (likely a left-handed sword, right hand shield). Would anyone buy it? I'd definitely be interested. I also think Imperial players would likely be interested in a small, cheap box for tough allies.

Nah. Not a fan of gold custard marines. Easy kits or otherwise.

I'd buy them to make statues out of like the ones at Warhammer World, that's about it.

no. Aside from having no interest in gold space marines I have even less interest in easy build trash. You have to sacrifice quality to do it, and I am not a small child who can't assemble her own models.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

Easy build no longer means trash, look at Space Hulk or Deathwatch: Overkill and tell me how trash those characterful miniatures are.

Monopose with limited design options = trash. It's a design constraint that offers nothing in return unless you are a small child who can't build real models.

I don't think people need enough models in a Custodes army to justify easy build. They're one of the cheapest armies to collect already.

Cute words, but no. But hey, you got a bite.

Or you know, unique sculpts? I love to buy one of each starter set, easy to build kit, etc... because they always have poses that you can't make easely with non monopose models. The exception being easy to build agressors and the Primaris Dreadnought.

Dakka does have White Knights and is also rather infamous for it's Black Knights. A new edition brings out the passionate and not all of them are good at expressing themselves in written form. There have been plenty of hysterical responses from both sides so far. So we descend into pointless bickering with neither side listening to each other. So posting here becomes more masturbation than conversation.

Easy Build Custodes? if they look good it might be an intreasting way to quickly bulk of a custodes force if you can buy em in packs of 3 that'd be a full squad there. But at ther same time they'd need to look really good, Cuatodes are such a small army that you really want to make sure your models are all gorgous looking

All right, let me see if I could sweeten the pot. What if they were more ornate than the regular guys? Something that would easily be justified as "the leader".

Let's face it, other than Valoris all Custodes leaders are just made from the other kits. I find that a bit disappointing.

For me, if they made an EZ build character box, one regular Shield Captain, one Allarus, that made them look obviously different, I would be totally interested.

Yeah, I always like more poses etc. They wouldn't make them if they were vastly different from the normal line of custodes.

I bought Ez-build Stormcast Eternals (Liberators as Custode Guard, Hammerers as Wardens, Dracoths as Jetbikes) to make my Custodes army, so I'm sure people would buy Ez-build Custodes.

However, I doubt GW will do Ez-Build custodes because you need so few in an army (5 hammerer models, 10 liberator models and 3 dracoth + 1 "shield captain" dracoth make up my full army).

It never ends well

;The left-hand sword, right handed shield is because no other Custodes model can do that without a great deal of conversion. People responded really well to that kind of thing with AoS Stormcast.

Yeah that has always bugged me, that the whole galaxy in 40k is filled with species that are all right handed lol. There is especially no need for them to be all the same now as the models are not interchangeable they are now made as single models if you know what I mean.

Sword hand switches are easy. Snip off the sword below the hilt. Remove whatever is in the hand you want it on. Pin sword into place. Pin sword pommel into place.

4 steps, takes five minutes (10 for metal figs).

It doesn't matter if they are easy.

I wouldn't buy Easy Build anything because I am playing Warhammer 40k, not Lego.
