Hello all, new here. I've been wanting to get into Warhammer figure painting and I recently saw a specific figure I'd like to purchase but I don't know it's name and I was unable to find it in the Games Workshop Warhammer store. Hoping someone here can help me out.

Thanks in advance!

Hi there!

That model is called a Carnifex, it's a big Tyranid creature.

Unfortunately they can't really be found in stores but check out eBay or the Games Workshop website to pick one up.

Hope that helps!

Definition of carnifex. plural carnifexes \-ksə̇z\ or carnifices \kärˈnifəˌsēz, -əˌkās\ : executioner; specifically : the public executioner in ancient Rome.

Fits well for anything killy.

Oli: Can I be an orc?
Everyone: No.
Oli: But it fits through the doors, Look!
