Hey guys,

Recently finished my take on the Ork KMK, I’m pretty happy with them- bar the checkers which I’m going to re-do

Basically I just wanted them too look fairly similar, with a theme for the unit ( the wall) and a bit rusted/worn.

Let me know what you think and if theres anything i should change,

cheers

If you had any spare orks or grots lying around I think that would be a nice touch, add some activity to the model. I also like the painted barrels, but I like my orks flashy.

Ask yourself: have you rated a gallery image today?

I have normal Gretchin that I’m going to use as crew, but nothing for the model themselves. I’ll try and source some grots too add flavour. Do you think these models are fine to proxy with in games

Nice scratch builds! Love the paint jobs too, great colors.

One observation & suggestion: They look more like Kannons or Killkannon's to me than KMK. (ref: http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Ork_Artillery#Killkannon, http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Ork_Artillery#Kustom_Mega-Kannon). KMK's are really the Ork equivalent of a plasma cannon. You might consider adding a few gubbins to the models that give the sense of unstable electricity flowing through them... maybe some extra wires? If you could buy or scavenge some beads, plastic balls/spheres, or LED's and paint them a plasma-like color (blue, red, purple, etc.) that might do the trick. Just a suggestion!

I think they're perfectly fine for count-as in friendly games. Check with your opponent first of course. I would have no problems playing against them!

Thanks for sharing!
