Any reason you chose a Paladin over a warden?

Or chose the paladin at all? Unless you are running the terryn relic, the other knights are better. Especially with 3 LRs essentially putting out the same damage per turn each. The warden or errant would serve you better if you want the cc option. But I would go crusader

I'd go with an errant, actually. But I'd also lose the DC and Lemartes and try to squeeze in some helverins. BA units are largely useless now.

From a BA perspective, I would say that the biggest change I would make is swapping those fists for hammers. Flat 3 is so much better than D3, and definitely worth the upgrade. DC with hammers are one of the scariest units in the game. Personally I'd run 4 in a 10 man unit (4-5 can bring down a big tank / monster / character / whole unit of jetbikes, whereas 3 usually won't. But in your army you haven't got a whole lot of other high priority targets, so it may be too risky.

Use a Warden. Buy a gauntlet and upgrade it to the paragon. Taranis is good. I get good mileage out of krast on my warden too. Be sure to spend a command point to give him a warlord trait and take ion bulwark. Oooooh man. Increases you chance of making it there alive... and you want to be in cc with that bad boy. My Knight has killed so many knights now with that config... And demon princes... And primarchs... and etc.

Another option is go super tanky with taranis and some armor of sainted ion +ion bulwark + chainsword. A knight that keeps kickin keeps kicking

I play my Knight more as a duelist. Charge the biggest stuff and let my army deal with the 'chaff.' that's with krast and a paragon gauntlet

For +5 points, upgrade the leman Russ BTs to the conqueror pattern. Makes them much more lethal inside 24" and decent at flyers too. Then +1 to hit and rerolls for random because Cadia!

Others... Does pask do his best work in a BT? My experience with pask is that everyone just tries to kill him. I like him in an executioner personally. He rerolls that 1 when sitting still. Always be super charging.. this way he has the same number of shots, same str, 1 better ap, and more consistent number of wounds over a BT... But at half the range.

Definitely thunder hammer over fists.

House Hawkshroud Knight Warden, Avenger Gatling Cannon w/ Heavy Flammer, Heavy Stubber, Thunderstrike gauntlet.

I like hawkshroud. Good household.
If using the thunderstrike gauntlet, I would burn 1 cp to get the paragon gauntlet. The extra two wounds with no negative modifer is nice. 3 good connects with one will end another knight.

I don't like Wardens. That gatling cannon is not that effective in 8th.
