Somewhat of a paint related question but, i'm moving across the US and i need to bring my paints with me however i'm worried they might get ruined in the post. Am i just being paranoid or will my paints have to be left behind?

Paint brands are Citadel, AK interactive, NW Oils, VA air.

They "should" be fine. Businesses ship paints across the country all the time. Might want to double-secure lids and place some questionable ones in zip-lock bags so they don't explode all over other stuff if they leak. You can buy 2"x4" baggies for like $5 for 100-200 of them on eBay, so you could use those as well.

You could have issues freezing if it was winter, or overheating if they're left on a porch in Arizona for three days or something. Beyond that you'll be fine.

I've moved cross country with paints from Nevada to DC. Lost a few on the way.

The one solution that worked for me was to get a cheap plastic toolbox and stick as many in there as possible. I used a cardboard box with bubble wrap for the rest, the trouble was someone stacked something heavy on it and all the Vallejo bottles squirted out. There weren't that many of them, but paint got all over the labels for the other paints in the boxes.

So, hard cases. Wrap them with duct tape.
