I decided to watch How It Ends today.

Pretty good! Really neat disaster/Apocalypse kind of movie with a road trip into the disaster zone and a vague unknown cause of the trouble. You follow ground level view with all the ignorance that accompanies it. Wild storms and weird effects. I definitely recommend.

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.

Hmm, well, I think the RAI here is pretty obvious: GW wants their games to end and for them to be cinematic.

The problem is the RAW doesn't really allow this. The RAW is cumbersome, devoted to minutiae and requires us to do hilarious abstractions like supermen infantry flying diagonally through Ruins. We also have the unintended problem of slow play which is keeping games from ending 'naturally', as it were.

All in all, I'd say check with a TO. Also, Bacon can add this to his sig of issues.

Do you have a page number or Special Snowflake FAQ to back that up?

So I reported myself and asked for this to be moved. I kind of love that it hasn't been yet. This rules commentary is pretty great. Keep up the good work guys!

Curb stomping in the Eye of Terror!

The story was well done up till the end.

The ending was very.... anticlimatic.

Live Ork, Be Ork. or D'Ork!

I can agree with that. I have a love/hate with the those kinds of endings.

I have to say, I tried this movie based on seeing this thread, and I think the script was painful . I mean, when you've got an actor like Forest Whitaker sounding wooden, you know you've done something wrong . I couldn't make it through it... there was definitely potential, but I skipped ahead to near the end after getting about halfway...

I thought his fiancee was a great actress, it would've been nice to see her have more of a role in the movie. The main character's acting was lacking to me, though (but again, could be the script!).

4/10 for me, would only watch if really scraping the bottom of the SciFi / post-apoc barrel!
