Hey there Gallery Watchers
My slow painting pace continues but this time I was trying out my first larger vehicle/model. As soon as I saw the Leviathan model I knew I had to have one! He's fully magnetised for all weapons (including the volkite blasters although they and the missile pod are a bit useless in 40k). There was also a fair bit of repositioning of the legs and body to give it a more dynamic pose. I made the sandbags out of Sculpey for him to be leaning on. My main takeaway is I've discovered larger models are a lot of fun . As usual, any comments and critique would be greatly appreciated.
More images in the spoiler below of the weapon options and a couple of close-ups

Looks great. Also, glad you didn't overly "Wolfesize" him. Nice work!

Great weathering! Looks like an ancient war machine!
I agree that it is good there aren't a bunch of wolf pelts on Your Leviathan. Easily recognizable as a Space Wolves dread.
Love the color scheme!

Thanks everyone! Glad it seems to be well received.
I was a little concerned about the amount of weathering. I went a little further than I planned and was worried the model would be a bit busy. The intention was to make him look like he had seen a lot of action though. I don’t see Leviathans as machines that go in for a new coat of paint and polish after each battle.
I also prefer my Wolves without too much wolf bling. I find that if I wolf my wolves too much the wolf becomes a bit wolf and the wolf wolf as the wolf wolf-wolf.
