Howdy
In order to save time painting dozens of models for AM i wanted to use Adeptus Mechanicus Grey primer on a model and use this colour as a fatigue colour.
Now I'm thinking what colour would serve best for armor and for gun.
Any ideas?
IMO primer colour is grey but with slight green. Currently I am trying to use Dark Sea grey from Vallejo as armor colour but I am not completely sold on brighter metal than cloth.
Anybody has some suggestions or maybe experience with such paint schemes?

Vallejo charcoal opaque may work. It's my go to, dark but not black, colour. A spot of gold /brass on the eagles may work, then a wash all over of thin nuln oil.

You can try titan dark blue too from Mecha Color line (Vallejo) too. It's quite dark and only get blue shines on reflection.

^ Fastest method is to base coat gray, wash, add a few elements of color, then clear coat.
