So I admit I’m not really into the Tau but I read somewhere they had “mind worms”. So I googled it and they came from a planet that’s very similar to some Dune words. Is this a complete coincidence?
Doesn’t this just turn the Tau into Goa’uld?

I don't know for sure but it's a safe bet that a fair bit of the Tau lore is just copied from various other sources. Which can be said for a lot of universes.
As for mind worms the closest I know of is that Ethereals have a gland that's similar to a spider races mind control but it may or may not be real.
One of GW's things like it MIGHT be true or it might not. Like all Tyranids evolve from Rippers according to some Mechanicus people.

He's referring to the Nagi. They're one of the Tau's ally races. They had a few skirmishes with the Tau before the two reconciled and the Nagi joined the Greater Good.
Their homeworld name, Sha'galudd, is very likely a Goa'uld reference.

It’s also similar to the big worm in Dune.

Not so much Goa'uld, but Shai-Hulud, the Fremen name for the great sandworms of Dune.

Like most of Gdubs work. Its ripped from somewhere else.
Changed just enough. So everyone knows were it comes from.
They could prolly do a lot about it. But meh.
If companies were as trigger happy with the lawyers back in the 80s and 90s,
As they are today Gdubs would have been screwed into the ground.

It's another thing that the dubs 'homaged' from Dune.
As if a "god emperor", sisters under arms, "deathworlds" (although the "deathworlds" like Catachan come from the novel of the same name("Deathworld" by Harry Harrison), not dune itself.), navigator houses, etc weren't enough.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.
That is not dead which can eternal lie ...
... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.
