Has anyone here recently attached a knight commander pask model to a leman russ. How do you do it? He comes with a base that i assumed you just glue inside the turret top before attaching it to the bottom piece however doing that results in him standing very tall, much taller than his pictures on the GW website. It also doesn't seem to fit that well and is slightly offset.

I'm assuming GW have made their own mounting to seat him in the russ on photographs but then what is the purpose of the base he comes with? Was there a much older leman russ kit that it fits into?
I have thought about trying to make my own floor for him out of sprue pieces as it seems to be the only option. I'm curious as to what others have done with theirs.

He was most likely designed for the older, bigger Russ kit, so that’s probably why you’re seeing issues.

I glued him in place best as I could, then just filled any gaps with Green Stuff. So far it's held together, even when i dropped the box he was in. Only part that broke was the glue seam between his legs and the bottom plate
