One hammer per five :O
Most people I've seen run 3-5 in a ten man squad, and I usually opt for 4 or 5. 1/5 sounds like a good "all-rounder" squad, but really, against vehicles your chainswords will only chip the paint and against infantry your hammers will be expensive and unnecessary compared to other options. Makes the points more expensive, but for how many CPs you'll want to pump in to them (usually 4-6 for me on turn one) you need to make it count. No point spending those CPs to get them where they need to be and then they half kill a vehicle/charactert. I take 4+ and hunt the big stuff, and the 6 chainswords are mostly just excess wounds but can occassionally put a final wound or two down. Hammers are just better than swords in so many ways, the only reason I would ever take swords or axes these days (tried them about a dozen times) is if I have a second squad that I'm not going to be spending CPs on.
In your situation if you really do need to take them in 2 squads of 7 for whatever reason, I would probably run 3 hammers or none. Ideally, you'd do one squad of 14 (if you also have CPs for morale). This gives them more ablative wounds and better efficiency with strats. Or if you need two squads, even a squad of 9 with 4 hammers for CP pumpage and another squad of 5 with a couple of swords would be better.
Finally, infernus pistols are super cool but not particularly competitive. If you're not attached to them too much, I'd drop them.
