I’ve seen tutorials using a grey primer. Then pre shading with black. I’ve tried that with gore red. And bloody red. One seems too dark. The other too bright. But mainly the shade itself doesn’t seem to blend all that great from the shaded to non shaded areas I was thinking of pre shading with purple or browns. Any tips? Post pics if you have some well done Saim hann and let me know how you managed to pull it off. Thank you.
