Subject: Attaching figure to a temporary base

Hey everyone. I want to temporarily attach my figures to a small wood base to handle them while painting. However, I don't want to permanently attach the figure. What is the best kind of glue for this?
Thanks

ATM I’m using 3M double sided tape, on a resin figure so not weighty
Alternatively you can use a small dot of superglue, easily removable and shouldn’t affect the figures base when finished

Agree - double sided tape can work wonders. I often use it to "stick" models to a painting stick to prime a few models at a time.

Blue-tac is pretty good, double sided tape or looped tape is fine for some ---- and superglue is also equally excellent, as it simply snaps off if you use a tiny bit.
Painting stirrers from your local hardware store are a good option for painting several models at a time.

Resin or plastic?
I can think of two ways:
1) Super glue one point of contact to any base. When finished, wait for the paint to cure. Then put the entire model into your freezer. After an hour or so, when it is frozen, twist the model off the base. Super glue has very little ability to withstand torsion and freezing it wil make it very brittle.
2) Super glue your model to a small piece of polypropylene (PP). PP is unaffected by acetone, whereas it totally breaks down super glue, so you can just put a drop of acetone on the point where the small piece of PP meets the larger piece of PP and peel the model off when the glue dissolves.
