That's an absolute beaut of a model. The camo, muted tones and rather nice job of weathering really make the whole thing gorgeous to look at. I usually go far too ott with weathering and it looks a bit ridiculous, a lot of fun though which is why my models always look like they've been bog snorkeling.

Interesting to stick it on a base, does that not get in the way during games?

Anyway, Rubicon should be grateful... You've earned them a sale of another M4!

Kudos to you, it's a lovely miniature.

(As sincere as a faceless denizen of the internet can be... Sorry about your friend, that's a terrible thing to happen.)

Cheers for that. And yeah I used to go heavy on weathering myself back in the day. And I'm still getting used to using powders instead of just drybrushing.

And I've always based tanks and so far it's been no issue and helps scale the vehicles better (when you think about it a 28mm model on a 2-3mm base is now 30-31mm in terms of height. So it helps 'upscale' vehicles)
I know players of a certain sci-fi game with marines in space would hate it for giving a fictionally perceived advantage. But thankfully historical gamers are adults. haha!

Heck if I could I would throw every penny I have at Rubicon and have no regrets doing it.

(And cheers for that. It's not been easy due to the circumstances around it. So thanks)

Modern helmet? You mean the German helmet?
