I’m looking into starting a new space marine army and was wondering if I should make the army out of Primaris or regular space marines.

G'day and welcome to Dakka. I would probably got for Primaris as I can see them slowly phasing out the old Space Marines in favour of the shiny new ones. But as Alex_85 said, it depends on what you're wanting to do with them. If you're more interested in painting and building then whichever you prefer the look of. If you are more into the gaming side then check out what lists are available and what others have said about how they play.
