Nice work on converting those plasma troopers. I've recently finished off a squad of those old boys painted up as inquisitorial stormtroopers and I don't imagine they would be easy models to convert.

The Castellax is beautifully done! I really like the addition of the shield and the carapace has an almost nautical vibe to it, almost live an old diving bell.

Beautiful work on the Thallax catbarf. I'm really liking those muddy bases and the black beetle-like faces are great

Looking forward to that tutorial catbarf. I agree with you on the purity seals, even if they aren't period correct they add that Blanchitsu vibe

Really nice work catbarf, the colours and the weathering all work really well together. I also like the duckboards on the base, gives a nice sense of weight to the model

Those converted rifles look really cool, I may have missed it in a previous post but what are they/how did you make them? And the two sergeants look really good, super flawless conversions. I don't know how you managed to do a face swap on the helmet one, those old model's faces are cramped as.

I think I posted an unpainted WIP, but they're intended to represent hot-shot volley guns, which didn't exist back when these models were sculpted. I replaced the muzzles of their hellguns with the muzzles of the plastic volley guns from the current Tempestus Scion set, added a piece of plastic rod to the top of the receiver to bulk out the connection, and replaced the magazines with guitar cable reaching back to the powerplant-looking part of the backpack.

It was tricky for sure. I started with one of my resin duplicates of an existing head, and trimmed off as much of the face as I could. Then I carefully sliced the face off the plastic head, sanded it paper-thin, and glued it on.
Surprisingly, no additional sculpting was needed after that.

Awesome! Thank you for the detailed reply ☺️ The hotshot volley gun conversions look so clean and really fit with the model's aesthetic. The guitar wire cable is a nice touch. Also love the group shots, its a great looking force you've painted up. The yellow plasma coils are a really nice spot colour

Those BFG ships looks great! The Imperial ones looking really clean from just dry brushing! And the Tyranids area looking fun

The BFG ships are coming along really well! Those Tyranid cruisers look awesome. And those Eldar are very nice

I'll second Olthannon, those muddy bases are great, really add to the atmosphere of the models. And beautiful paint job as always. I advent been able to spot any stray fibres in the photos if thats any consolation.

That full army shot looks so good! Such a great colour scheme and seeing all your nids together, it really works a treat. Your Mechanicum are coming along beautiful as well. Looking forward to seeing more!
