Hello,
I know points will be varying on a few things but from the looks of what I've been seeing from the reveals, I'm leaning towards possibly trying out something like this for my first game with the new codex:

Brigaide Detatchment:
Bjorn
Njal in Terminator amor
Primaris wolf guard battle leader with the armor of Russ relic

3x 5-man intercessor squads with grenade launcher and chainsword

murderfang
2x 5-wulfen Wulfen squads with 2x sheilds and 2x axes

3 individual cyber wolves for area denial and objectives

2x longfangs with 2x lascannons and 2x heavy bolters
Relic leviathan dread with double storm cannons

Depending on points, I can upgrade where needed.

Im toying with the vanguard detachment for killing big units like Mortarion, valiant knights, plaque burst crawler, etc.

Heres what I come up with, cheaper than longfangs 48" range, reroll 1s.
The wolf lord is to deepstrike 1st turn on deployment zone to avoid snipers/missiles/etc.

++ Vanguard Detachment +1CP (Imperium - Space Wolves) [27 PL, 555pts] ++

+ HQ +
Wolf Lord [6 PL, 96pts]: Chainsword, Jump Packs, Master-crafted boltgun

+ Elites +
Dreadnought [7 PL, 153pts]: Twin autocannon, Twin lascannon
Dreadnought [7 PL, 153pts]: Twin autocannon, Twin lascannon
Dreadnought [7 PL, 153pts]: Twin autocannon, Twin lascannon

Id rather spend points on lord on thunderwolves. Hide it behind the dreadnoughts.

Wolf Lord on Thunderwolf [8 PL, 144pts]: Storm shield, Thunder hammer

2s to hit. 3s to wound on Demon Princes. got 7 wound. 2+/3++. 10" threat radius.
And could replace that jump pack lord. Just hide it behind los or deep strike stratagems. point for points.
