Hey folks with the civitas kit being modular and fairly versatile I thought it would be handy to have a thread where we could share building, ruins and kitbashes etc. I'm sure people are gonna put together some pretty interesting stuff so lets share and see if we can inspire others or just steal a few ideas ourselves along the way

To get us started this is a church style build, the inspiration for which was a buildings shown during one of the events a couple of months ago(which I can't remember the name of for the life of me...). It isn't quite finished yet but its complete enought to show.

This took the better part of 8 sprues to put together (4 of each type) so it was fairly hungry bits wise but I think it was worth it for a table centre piece.

I do like that configuration. I wouldn't glue these vertically. Instead, assemble each level of that 2x2 tower separately, with a roof, and stack them. This way you can use those elements elsewhere if you ever want to mix things up. Same with those second level cubes on the long sections.

I'd thought about assembling them seperatly and they seem to stack together firmly enough that they won't fall off each other if knocked while playing but it became clear while I was mocking this up that I'd be using greenstuff to fill a lot of the gaps and that I might do some plasticard work on it as well. In the end glueing it seemed the better option.

Eventually it'll get based but before that I have a sector civitas to play around with. I want to get some practice games in with a decent amount of scenery before I go too nuts with trying to make it all look good.
