I can't remember and right now renovating my room so can't find my rule book at the moment. What is the "standard" size for a 40K game? Is it 4ftX6ft? My "gaming" room is small. I have a table that is 30"X6ft. I can't see why that can't be a good gaming table. It folds up for me so it can be put out of the way. Thing is before I try and set up my room, I want to make sure it would be acceptable to game on. While it would be 18" short on the narrow side, I see the 6" long as a bit to long. So this got me thinking that 4ftX6ft is not the "standard" size. As I forget easily, I don't have an idea.

So would it be ok to play on? If not, how come? This will be great for playing Kill Teams but eventually I want to get back into bigger games of 40K. So like to see if it's acceptable and if not, why not.

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

4'x6' is pretty much standard.

EDIT: It is okay to play on smaller, but you'll likely want to shrink the deployment zones.

Thank you for that Yarium. Never thought of shrinking the deployment zones.
