Here's a theoretical eldar horde list (just because I've never seen one about and it looks like it could be a semi viable alternative). Kabals will probably be black heart. Jinx and doom the nastiest thing around and melt it with blasters and poison. Guardian bomb can deep strike and nuke something.

Main question is if there is anything to improve the leadership of the kabalites? Could be an issue if the enemy plays sensibly with their firepower.

Archon (writ of living muse)
Archon (labyrinthine cunning)
15 kabalites with blaster

Drazhar

Farseer skyrunner (doom)
Warlock skyrunner (jinx)

20 Guardians (go in webway)

I have no idea about DE blasters, but are they good enough to deal with heavy armor? Massed heavy armor, for exemple a spam of Leman russes with BC's and 1 HB?

Additionally couldn't 10 man squads be better since there would be less morale casualities?

A Mostly Renegades and Heretics blog.
GW:"Space marines got too many options to balance, therefore we decided to legends HH units."
Players: "why?!? Now we finally got decent plastic kits and you cut them?"
Chaos marines players: "Since when are Daemonengines 30k models and why do i have NO droppods now?"
GW" MONEY.... erm i meant TOO MANY OPTIONS (to resell your army to you again by disalowing former units)! Do you want specific tyranid fighiting Primaris? Even a new sabotage lieutnant!"
Chaos players: Guess i stop playing or go to HH.

Blasters are 18" S8 AP-4 D6 damage guns. I am a little concerned they may be outranged, even with the drukhari 7" move plus advance (if the splinters have no good targets)

If doom and jinx go off one one target then the splinters become reasonable anti tank. Theoretically if I manage to get one shot each from the splinter rifles on a doom and jinxed knight then they should do around 17 wounds to it.

You're right though, backfield armour would basically have to be ignored until I chewed through the midfield stuff.

The best way to improve Kabalite LD is to A) not have more than 5 models in the unit and B) put them in Venoms or Raiders.
I'd highly recommend dropping 10 kabalites per unit and use the points on enough Raiders with Dissies to put 2 units of 5 in each Raider.
The Dissies can also help with the backfield stuff and the Raiders to get your Blaster in range T1
There is a reason you do not see Aeldari Horde

But if you HAVE to do tons of Infantry, take blocks of Alaitoc Guardian with an Alaitoc WL that ignores Morale (or just take Iyanden Guardians)
