I was working on an Ork Doctor and looking through the Kill Team book (don't have the Ork Kill Team boxset) I see there is no Medic. I just want to make sure. Maybe because it is I am working on him slowly I thought he was in the book. I just want to make sure I am not missing anything.

I wanted to start with a Midic Ork but it looks like I can't do it. So not sure what to do now. I don't have a clue about Orks so not sure what or how to make a leader for Orks.

No, sadly there is no Medic option for Orks. Sniper being omitted I can see, but Medic is a fluffy add.

One way to look at Meks though is that they're Doks for vehicles and gubbins instead of just working on the Boyz. An idea I'm basing my Spanner leader on is that he was a rather unsuccessful Dok who always tried to "improve" his patients with tech until the rest of the Orks barred him from being a Dok due to a woefully low (even for an Ork) survival rate. The kill team are the few successful "experiements" he's accomplished.

Great idea there Larks. I might have to borrow your idea.

Yeah, there's no option for an actual medic right now. The pain boy isn't a troop (or sneaky), so got left out.

Still, you could just use him as a boyz nob with a claw and a different specialization. Leader, as everyone is too afraid of him to disobey, or combat, as his "medical upgrades" murder-ize those unfortunate enough to end up within reach, for example.
